April 6-8, 2018 | The Columbia Club | Indianapolis, IN
The future of American democracy is everywhere in doubt. People across the political spectrum are aware of the dangers of despotism and worried that democracy may be in decline.
This shared concern seems to be raising a new appreciation for separation of powers at the federal level.
Enter Federalism.
Federalism, the distribution of power among multiple entities over the same region, is the defining feature of the American political tradition.
This conference will examine the idea of federalism yesterday and today. Join us and learn why even Progressives are now falling in love with federalism!
